Setting Up CallScout Pro in 5 Minutes: A Complete Walkthrough
From signup to your first call — everything you need to know
What You'll Need
- A smartphone running Android 9 or higher
- Your business phone number

Step 1: Sign Up
Visit callscoutpro.com and click "Start Free Trial". Enter your business name, email, and password. Your 7-day trial starts immediately — no credit card required.
Step 2: Get Your API Key
After logging in, go to Settings → API Key. Copy your unique API key — you'll need this for the Android app.
Step 3: Download the Android App
Go to Settings → Download App in your dashboard. Download the APK and install it on the Android phone that receives your business calls.
Step 4: Configure the App
Open the CallScout Pro app and enter:
- Server URL: https://app.callscoutpro.com
- API Key: paste your key from Step 2
- Line ID: 1 (or your line number if you have multiple)
Tap Test Connection — you should see a green success message.
Step 5: Make a Test Call
Call your business number from another phone. The CallScout Pro dashboard on your computer should show a call popup with the caller's details (or a "New Customer" form for unknown numbers).

That's it. Every incoming call will now trigger a popup on your dashboard, showing customer history and letting you serve them by name.
