Raza Hussain

Raza Hussain is the founder of CallScout Pro. He has spent more than 15 years building production software with Ruby on Rails — six years as a senior engineer, five as a principal engineer owning architecture, and the rest working directly with founders and SaaS teams in the US, UK and Australia.

CallScout Pro started from a problem he kept seeing in his own city. Almost every restaurant, clinic and salon in Pakistan takes orders and bookings over the phone, and the first minute of every call is spent asking a returning customer for details the business already has. He built an Android app that detected the incoming number, then the platform behind it: customer records, order history, and a real-time dashboard that puts the caller on screen before anyone picks up.

He writes about Rails and product engineering for an audience of 12,500+ engineers and founders on LinkedIn, and built sqltoactiverecord.com, a free tool for the Rails community. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Government College University, Lahore, and works from Lahore, Pakistan.
